Below the convergence of these three rivers, the Black River flows south eventually meeting the Red River. Originating in Polk County, Ark., the Ouachita River flows 510 miles south to Jonesville where it meets the Little River to the west and the Tensas River to the east. There’s a location in Louisiana where four rivers converge in Catahoula Parish creating, which creates an extremely fertile watershed for largemouth, spotted bass, yellow bass, white bass and their forage species.
